You’re a thoughtful, committed dog guardian. You love your dog—but some days are harder than you imagined. You’re facing behavior that doesn’t make sense, advice that doesn’t sit right, and the sinking feeling that no matter what you try, it’s not working.

Maybe your dog is too sensitive, too intense, or just doesn’t fit the mold. Walks are tense. You haven’t had company over in ages. You’ve skipped happy hours, canceled plans, and started doing more things alone. Your world feels smaller—and sometimes you wonder if your partner resents how much life now revolves around the dog.

You’re torn between doing right by your dog and reclaiming a life that works for you, too. You imagined partnership. Now you just want to understand your dog—and support them in a way that brings peace to both of you.

Who It’s For

At Paws & Reflect San Diego, I help families move beyond obedience drills and symptom-chasing to uncover what’s really driving their dog’s behavior.

We apply the LEGS framework—Learning, Environment, Genetics, and Self—to explore the full picture of who your dog is and what they need to thrive. Then we build a plan that supports both ends of the leash.

What We Do

It’s not about fixing your dog. It’s about finally understanding them.

Together, we’ll create routines, boundaries, and relationships that feel good—not just functional. Confusion becomes clarity. Guilt fades into confidence. Instead of tiptoeing around your dog’s quirks, you’ll know how to meet their needs while living your own life, too.

The result? A calmer home. A more connected bond. And a training plan that actually fits your real life.

The Transformation

This work is personal to me.

I know what it’s like to love a dog and feel unsure what to do next—to question advice, to feel pulled between doing right by your dog and trying to hold onto your own life.

That’s why I don’t jump straight to solutions. I take the time to understand what’s really going on so we can build something that actually works—for both of you.

I’m a Family Dog MediatorĀ® and Victoria Stilwell Certified Trainer, and I bring a thoughtful, collaborative approach that’s grounded in real life—not perfection.

Why Me

Start with Relief & Reframe

A simple, one-time session to help you understand what’s going on—and what to do next.

Relief & Reframe is where we slow things down and make sense of what you’re seeing.

We’ll look at your dog as a whole—their needs, their patterns, and the world they’re navigating—so you can start to understand the why behind their behavior.

You’ll leave with clarity, a few next steps, and a way forward that actually feels doable.

No pressure. No commitment beyond this session. Just a place to start.

Find the Right Fit for You and Your Dog

The bond starts here.
Welcoming a puppy into your life is exciting—and let’s be honest, sometimes overwhelming. Whether you're a first-time dog parent or it’s just been a while, this program is here to help you feel confident and supported every step of the way.

Together, we’ll build trust, establish routines, and teach your puppy how to navigate the human world with joy and resilience. This is about creating a relationship you both can grow into—not just checking off boxes.

The clarity starts here.
Loving your dog is easy—but living together isn’t always. When behavior challenges leave you feeling frustrated, confused, or in over your head, this program helps you reset with compassion and structure.

We’ll focus on building understanding, routines, and communication that make daily life smoother—for both of you. It’s not about fixing your dog. It’s about creating a relationship where you both feel safe, seen, and supported.

Real World Ready (Coming Soon)

The confidence grows here.
This field trip mini-series is designed for clients who want to continue their journey and bring their dog’s skills into the real world. Together, we’ll practice in everyday settings like parks, cafĆ©s, Sniffspots, and local shops.

With guided support, you and your dog will learn to navigate distractions, new environments, and daily challenges—so you can step into the world feeling more connected and capable than ever.

Guided Growth (Coming Soon)

The support starts here.
You don’t have to do it all yourself. With Guided Growth, I’ll work directly with your dog to build early skills and patterns—while you keep up with life. Each session lays the groundwork for calm, connection, and confidence.

Then, we meet to transfer that progress into your daily routine—so you’re never left wondering what to do next, and your dog keeps growing with you.

Not sure which option is right?

If you decide to continue, this session can be applied toward a package.
