You're a thoughtful, committed dog guardian. You love your dog, but some days are harder than you imagined.

Maybe you're living with behavior that doesn't make sense. Or maybe you've just brought home a new puppy or dog and are overwhelmed by the endless, often conflicting advice about what you should be doing.

Either way, you're trying to do right by your dog and nothing feels as straightforward as you expected.

Maybe your dog is too sensitive, too intense, or simply different from what you expected. Walks are tense. You haven't had company over in ages. You've skipped happy hours, canceled plans, and started doing more things alone. Your world feels smaller and sometimes you wonder if your partner resents how much life now revolves around the dog.

You imagined partnership.

Now you just want to understand your dog and find a way forward that brings more peace, confidence, and enjoyment back into daily life.

Who It’s For

At Paws & Reflect San Diego, I help families move beyond obedience drills and symptom-chasing to uncover what’s really driving their dog’s behavior—so life can start feeling easier, calmer, and more predictable for everyone involved.

We apply the LEGS framework—Learning, Environment, Genetics, and Self—to explore the full picture of who your dog is and what they need to thrive. Then we build a practical plan that supports both ends of the leash and helps turn insight into meaningful change.

What We Do

It’s not about fixing your dog. It’s about finally understanding them.

Together, we'll create routines, management strategies, and communication patterns that help everyday life feel less stressful and more enjoyable—for both of you.

Confusion becomes clarity. Guilt fades into confidence. Walks feel more manageable. Daily routines become more predictable. You spend less time wondering what to do and more time enjoying life with your dog.

The result? A calmer home. A more connected bond. And a training plan that actually fits your dog, your family, and your everyday reality.

The Transformation

This work is personal to me.

I know what it’s like to love a dog and feel unsure what to do next—to question advice, to feel pulled between doing right by your dog and trying to hold onto your own life.

That’s why I don’t jump to quick fixes. I take the time to understand what’s really going on so we can create practical solutions that fit your dog, your family, and the life you're actually living.

As a Family Dog Mediator® and Victoria Stilwell Certified Trainer, I bring a thoughtful, collaborative approach grounded in understanding, practicality, and real-world success.

Why Me

Relief & Reframe

A one-time session designed to bring clarity, identify priorities, and help you move forward with confidence.

Whether you're dealing with reactivity, fearfulness, puppy challenges, or a dog who simply seems misunderstood, Relief & Reframe helps you make sense of what's happening and decide what comes next.

We'll look at your dog as a whole—their needs, their patterns, and the world they're navigating—to uncover what's driving the behavior you're seeing.

You'll leave with practical next steps, greater clarity, and a realistic plan for moving forward.

Find the Right Fit for You and Your Dog

The bond starts here.

Welcoming a puppy into your life is exciting—and let’s be honest, sometimes overwhelming. Whether you're a first-time dog parent or it’s just been a while, this program is here to help you feel confident and supported every step of the way.

Together, we’ll build trust, establish routines, and teach your puppy how to navigate the human world with joy and resilience. This is about creating a relationship you both can grow into—not just checking off boxes.

The clarity starts here.

Loving your dog is easy—but living together isn’t always. When behavior challenges leave you feeling frustrated, confused, or in over your head, this program helps you reset with compassion and structure.

We’ll focus on building understanding, routines, and communication that make daily life smoother—for both of you. The goal isn't perfection. It's helping you feel more confident, helping your dog feel more successful, and making everyday situations easier to navigate together.

Continue Your Journey

Real World Ready

The confidence grows here.

For Family Dog Foundations graduates, this field trip mini-series is designed for clients who want to continue their journey and bring their dog’s skills into the real world. The goal is to help you move beyond controlled training environments and feel more confident navigating everyday life together.

With guided support, you and your dog will learn to navigate distractions, new environments, and daily challenges—so you can step into the world feeling more connected and capable than ever.

Guided Growth

For existing clients

You don’t have to do it all yourself. With Guided Growth, I’ll work directly with your dog to build early skills and patterns—while you keep up with life. Each session lays the groundwork for calm, connection, and confidence.

Then, we meet to transfer that progress into your daily routine—so you’re never left wondering what to do next, and your dog keeps growing with you.

Not sure which option is right?

If you decide to continue, this session can be applied toward a package.
