About Paws & Reflect
I know what itâs like to feel deeply connected to your dogâand still feel stuck.
To be doing everything âright,â and still wonder why it feels so hard. To rearrange your life around your dogâs needs, and still feel like youâre falling short.
Thatâs why I do the work I do.
I founded Paws & Reflect to help dog guardians who arenât looking for dominance-based training or quick fixesâjust real support, grounded in empathy, science, and respect.
Iâm a certified Family Dog MediatorÂźâ I look beyond behavior to understand the full picture of your dogâs life.
Using the LEGSÂź framework, we explore your dogâs Learning, Environment, Genetics, and Selfâwhich includes their physical health, emotions, and internal needs.
Itâs not about fixing surface-level behavior. Itâs about building safety, trust, and understanding from the inside out.
I also draw from:
Science-based, force-free training strategies
Applied ethology and canine body language
A belief that your relationship with your dog matters more than any checklist of commands
What matters to me?
That your dog is seen as a sentient beingânot a project.
That your home feels like a place where both of you can exhale.
Because most behavior issues arenât about disobedience.
Theyâre about dogs who are overwhelmedâand people who are unsupported.
Thatâs why I put welfare before obedienceâalways.
True welfare isnât just a roof over their head or food in their bowl.
Itâs about meeting your dogâs emotional, physical, and social needs.
Itâs about giving them a life that makes senseâto them.
A life with purpose, predictability, and peace.
Thatâs where real change begins.
